Murals
  Back Arrow   Next Arrow
In working with Hollywood clientele,
LaParlière was faced with a challenge
that turned her mural painting process
into a trademark process of sorts.

Since the Hollywood crowd is not
known for settling down in one house
for long, LaParlière had to think of
ways to make murals moveable.
As a result, she now paints on large
canvas stretched in her studio and
the resulting mural is installed in place
with a special adhesive.

The big advantage is that the owner of the artwork has the ability to remove it if they move,
remodel, or want a new one. "The first time I did this it was in Jeff Beaulieu's home (Priscilla
Presley's brother), says LaParlière. "They were putting on a second floor addition and to
protect the mural during the construction, we removed it...it just peeled off, then at the end
we replace it... Not a scar!"
