This prestigious award is given to acknowlege and pay tribute to outstanding
women and minority business owners in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and
the District of Columbia.
A panel of distinguished judges chose Galerie LaParlière & Studios
from 1400 nominations.

Inclusion and Diversity and founder of the Top 100 MBE Awards Ceremony. “this award
is the culmination of sacrifice, dedication and hard work and will inspire future minority
business entrepreneurs to strive for the same level of success.”

September 4th 2009, Maryvonne LaParlière has been nominated by
the Prime Minister of France, in gratitude of her action and enthusiasm to promote the
French Culture in the United States, through her Art, exhibitions, classes, lectures, and
to participate as well actively in multiple events as board member in the Sisters Cities
Program, and in different chapters of the Alliance Francaise.
Fall 2010: Decoration by his Excellence the Ambassador Vimont, and ceremony held at
his residence in Washington DC.
