September 4th 2009, Maryvonne LaParlière has been nominated

the Prime Minister of France, in gratitude of her action and enthusiasm
to promote the
French Culture in the United States, through her Art, exhibitions,
classes, lectures, and
to participate as well actively in multiple events as board member
in the Sisters Cities
Program, and in different chapters of the Alliance Francaise.
